Offer Details:

  • Customers will receive up to BDT 50 bonus upon updating their biometric information and opening a new Savings Scheme on the bKash app, twice during the campaign period.
  • Customers who successfully update their biometric information will receive a BDT 25 bonus, and those who open a new Savings Scheme after updating their biometric information will receive an additional BDT 25 bonus.
  • Only selected customers are eligible for the offer.
  • Customers will receive the bonus within the next 2 working days after successfully updating their biometric information.
  • Customers who will open a new Savings Scheme after updating their biometric information will receive the bonus within 1 working day.

 

Terms & Conditions:

  • Customers can only avail the offer using the bKash App for the campaign.
  • bKash reserves the right to bar any account from the campaign if any fraudulent activity is detected.
  • bKash customers with active account status who have never updated their biometric information can enjoy the offer by successfully updating their biometric information and then by opening a new Savings Scheme with bKash.
  • In order to receive the bonus, the account status and incoming transactions of the customer account must be active. If the bonus disbursement fails due to the customer’s account status issue, the customer will not be eligible to receive the bonus of the campaign.
  • In case bonus disbursement fails due to any unknown/unforeseen reason except for the customer’s account status issue, bKash will retry the bonus disbursement manually 3 times within 2 months after the campaign. If all attempts fail, no other attempt will be made and the customer will no longer be entitled to the bonus of the campaign.
  • Customers are entitled to the bonus for successfully updating biometric information and opening a Savings Scheme from their bKash account.
  • bKash reserves the right to change/modify campaign terms & conditions or cancel the entire campaign at any time without giving any prior notice.
  • bKash reserves the right to cancel the bonus payout if the particular transaction and/or the customer’s transaction behavior raises reasonable suspicion that the customer has abused the benefit of the campaign
  • There could be unanticipated cases where bonus payment would be delayed due to unknown/unforeseen issues.   1. What is the duration of the campaign offer?

The offer is valid till 31st December 2023 23:59:59 hour.

 

  1. What is the bonus amount?

Customers who successfully update their biometric information will receive a bonus of BDT 25, and after updating their information, if they open a new Savings Scheme they will receive an additional bonus of BDT 25.

  1. How many times can customers enjoy the bonus during the campaign period?

Customers will receive the bonus once for updating their biometric information and once for opening a new Savings Scheme after updating their biometric information.

  1. What is the maximum amount of bonus that customers can receive during the campaign period?

The maximum bonus amount is BDT 50 during the campaign period.

  1. Will customers receive any bonus if they have previously updated their information?

Customers who registered through paper KYC from a bKash agent and never registered through online/e-KYC are only eligible for the offer.

  1. Does the customer’s account need to be in “Active Status” to receive the bonus?

In order to receive the bonus, the account status and incoming transactions of the customer's account must be active. If bonus disbursement fails due to a customer account status issue, the customer will not be eligible to receive the bonus for the campaign.

  1. Will customers receive any bonus if their BIU update/opening a new Savings Scheme is successful?

Yes, If the customer's BIU update/opening Savings Scheme is valid, bKash will recognize the update as authentic and if the incoming transaction of their account is active, they will receive the bonus. However, bKash reserves the right to cancel the bonus payout if the particular transaction and/or the customer’s transaction behavior raises reasonable suspicion that they have abused the benefit of the campaign.

  1. Is there any chance of the customer’s bonus being delayed? If yes, what should customers do?

Most likely, customers will receive their bonus within 2 working days (for biometric information update) and 1 working day (for opening a new Savings Scheme) as per eligibility. There could be unanticipated cases where bonus payment would be delayed due to unknown/unforeseen issues.
