bKash Limited has signed an agreement with Dnet recently to disburse monthly commission to the latter’s health agents who are assigned to register expectant and new mother for its mobile phone health service known as Aponjon service.
The agreement will facilitate Dnet to ensure fast, secure and convenient disbursement facility to its agents across the country. The easy and quick fund transfer is expected to improve the efficiency and reduce the lead time of the monthly disbursement.
Dnet is a social enterprise for promoting access to information and knowledge through the power of information and communication technologies owns and runs ‘Aponjon’, a health mobile messaging service under the Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action (MAMA), a global alliance for improving maternal and child health through mobile technology.
Launched in 2011, bKash, a joint venture of BRAC Bank, US based Money in Motion and World Bank’s private sector investment arm IFC, offers a broad range of mobile financial services focused on reaching the unbanked population of Bangladesh.
