bKash and Rural Services Foundation (RSF) recently signed an agreement in order to facilitate payment collection from rural areas through bKash. Rezaul Hossain, Head of Sales & Distribution, bKash and Md. Ruhul Quddus (Executive Director), Rural Services Foundation signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
As per the agreement, bKash will offer services to RSF in rural areas where formal banking is not available. This service will help RSF to collect timely and secure payments from their remote branches. Moreover, this easy and quick transfer will significantly improve the efficiency and reduce the lead time of payment collection.
RSF which is a social development initiative of Rahimafrooz, was incorporated on 31 January, 2006 as a ‘not for profit’ company with a view to provide essential services to the rural people at affordable cost. RSF works in all areas of environment, social and human development including community development, economic and business development, trade, enterprise, conventional and renewable energy, health, nutrition, education and all other social development.

Mahbub Alam, Unit Head Corporate Sales from bKash and Anas Reza, Assistant General Manager, Finance from Rural Services Foundation and some other officers were present.
