bKash your Palli Bidyut (Rural Electricity) Bill conveniently, anytime

bKash has started its journey with a view to make banking activities easy and in the process make life simple. Trailing from this vision, bKash now brings to you ‘Pay Bill’ service. You will not have to suffer to pay your Palli Bidyut bill anymore. From now onwards, using bKash ‘Pay Bill’ service you can pay your Palli Bidyut bill anytime and from anywhere.

Service Details

For bKash users Pay Bill is a new service, where by customers can pay bills of different organizations using their bKash account.

Bill payment feature will allow bKash customers to perform the following:

  • Check Bill: A customer can query the biller with information to determine bill details based on the customer bill account number and due month
  • Pay Bill:  A customer can select bill payment based on his payment requirements and input the required information to proceed for respective bill payment. Service fee may apply
  • Beneficiary: A customer can use add/delete/view beneficiary for different billers which can reduce bill payment steps

Benefits for Customers:

  • Convenient to pay various bills, fees, etc. from anywhere and anytime
  • To pay the bill, a customer does not need to be physically present in the Biller premise or visit Banks to achieve the same 
  • Feature available to view ‘outstanding/payable’ amount in check bill option prior to bill payment

 

Beneficiary:

  1. Beneficiary is a feature that allows bKash subscribers to save their important information such as  SMS Account Number for ‘Pay Bill’ transactions, so that the payer does not need to remember their account number every time bills are paid.
  2. If you fill in 'Beneficiary Name' for this function, it will be easy to identify the SMS Account Number  with the payer’s name 
  3. During ‘Pay Bill’ journey, 'Saved Accounts' option will be considered as 'Beneficiary'
  4. Currently, one (1) Beneficiary can be added for every biller

bKash customer will be able to pay for ‘Palli Bidyut’ bill twice in a month (i.e. for two SMS Account Numbers only)

* bKash customer may request maximum five (5) ‘Check Bill’ request from an account, which applies for all Billers
