How to Register Your Vehicle from the bKash App

1. From the bKash App home screen, select Toll
2. Select Register Vehicle
3. Enter the required information and tap Proceed
4. Enter your bKash PIN
5. Once registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation message

How to purchase a trip:

• After completing registration, go to the home screen of the bKash App
• Then go to “Pay Bill > Government Fees” and select the “D-Toll” top-up option
• Enter your EkPass ID and proceed to the next step
• Enter the recharge amount
• Provide your PIN and confirm the purchase

Physical Registration:

• When using the bridge for the first time, you need to register your vehicle once in the bridge system
• Visit an ETC registration booth to complete the verification. After that, you will be provided with a sticker

*** ETC-operated toll booths are separate and can be easily identified by the “ETC Operation” signboard. When a registered vehicle reaches the booth, the BRTA RFID tag will be scanned, and the toll amount will be automatically deducted from the D-Toll account.

How to Recharge D-Toll from the bKash App:

1. Before using the toll, tap on the “Add Balance” option to add toll balance.
2. Enter the required recharge amount and proceed.
3. Tap and hold to confirm the toll recharge.
4. Once the recharge is successful, you will receive a confirmation message from bKash and your updated toll balance will be displayed.
5. You can now easily pay tolls at designated toll plazas using your registered vehicle. And get 10% cashback up to ৳100.

3. Is there any limit in the campaign?

• One customer will get maximum cashback as many times as they want during campaign period

4. What information is required for vehicle registration?

• For vehicle registration, customers need to provide the following information:

             -      Vehicle serial number (including class and zone)

             -      Last 4 digits of the vehicle's chassis number

5. What to do after receiving a successful registration SMS?

• Log in to the bKash app and you will find the “Toll” option on the home screen:
  - Tap on the “Add Balance” option to add toll balance
  - Enter the required recharge amount and proceed
  - Tap and hold to confirm the toll recharge
  - Once the recharge is successful, you will receive a confirmation message from bKash and your updated toll balance will be displayed
  - You can now easily pay tolls at designated toll plazas using your registered vehicle

6. If a customer unregisters their vehicle from the bKash Toll menu, will the EkPass ID wallet also be deactivated?

• No. Your EkPass ID will remain saved in the D-Toll system, but the vehicle you unregistered will only be removed from bKash’s D-Toll list. This means you will no longer be able to recharge from the Pay Bill menu in the bKash app.

7. How can customers check their D-Toll balance?

• On the screen where the D-Toll top-up amount is entered, you can see your current balance.

8. If a customer has another registered vehicle in the bKash Toll menu, can they recharge using the same EkPass ID?

• Yes, the customer can recharge in the same way from the D-Toll top-up.

9. Can the customer delete their EkPass ID from bKash?

• No, the EkPass ID is generated by Bangladesh Bridge Authority (BBA). For this, the customer must contact them separately (Call Center: 333). To stop recharging with the bKash App, the customer can use the 'Unregister' button to delete/unregister their vehicle from bKash.

10. Which bridges have RFID toll facilities?

• Currently, this service is available for the Padma Bridge. Other bridges will be added to this service soon.

11. Is there any additional fee or charge?

• A standard 1.25% service charge applies to each transaction. However, under the ongoing campaign, the service charge will remain 0% until further notice.
