Service Details
To enjoy the service, customers must first -
- Go to the Home Screen of the bKash app and tap on Add Money
- Select Card to bKash
- Select American Express / Citymaxx Card from the list
- Select American Express / Citymaxx Card from the list of receiver names and saved cards and type the amount
- Type OTP
- A notification of a successful Add Money transaction will be sent immediately

- bKash customers can transfer money from an American Express / Citymaxx Card to a bKash account.
- Who can get this service?
- All bKash customers will get this service from their bKash account.
- Which bank card is required for this service?
- Customers can avail the service with a secured American Express / Citymaxx Card issued by Bangladesh City Bank PLC.
- What is the Default Card?
- If the customer has multiple cards saved in bKash, customers can choose one card as default, which can be used for transactions more easily. This card will always appear first while adding money to bKash. Customers can change the default card from their bKash profile page.
- Can the customers change the saved card reference name?
- Customers can rename a card reference from their bKash profile and tap on the saved card option next. Customers have to choose which card reference to change and which reference name to choose.
- What is the limit?
- Customers can Add Money within the bank and card limit.

- How to save a card?
- Customers can save a card after a successful Add Money transaction from an American Express / Citymaxx Card. From the transaction success screen, customers can tap 'Next', where they have to provide consent to save the card and give the reference name for the card. Then the customers have to tap the 'Return to Home' button. This way the card will be saved and customers will be able to view the saved card from their bKash profile.
- What will the customers do, if they do not want to save the card?
- After a successful transaction, customers have to uncheck the 'Save Card Details for Future Transactions' button and then tap on the 'Return to Home' button.
- How to remove saved cards?
- Customers have to go to their bKash profile and tap on the 'Saved Card' button. Then they can view the list of saved cards. Customers have to tap on the manage button and then tap on the 'remove' button. Customers will be notified again for confirmation. Then the customers have to tap on the 'Yes' button to delete the card from their bKash account.
- How to change the default card?
- Customers have to go to their bKash profile and tap on the 'Saved Card' button. Then the customers can see the list of saved cards. Customers can set a card as default by tapping on the 'Default' button If more than one card is saved in the bKash app. If only one card is added to the bKash app, that card will show as the default card.
