Every month 3 electricity bill payment is charge free through the bKash App or by dialing *247#. For the next bills, specific charges will be applicable for the bill payment.
How to pay bKash Prepaid Electricity Bill with bKash App
1. Tap ‘Pay Bill’ from bKash app home screen
2. Choose "Electricity” and select Biller
3. Enter your Meter and Contact Number
4. Enter recharge amount and complete transaction by entering your bKash Account PIN
5. Tap and hold the bottom of the screen to confirm payment and get a digital receipt instantly
6. Collect your token number and then enter this token number into your electricity meter, your electricity bill payment will be updated in the meter. You will receive a token number through an SMS within a few moments of paying the prepaid meter electricity bill (If you do not receive the token number through the SMS, send a message with your meter number to 04445616247 or you can find your prepaid token number from the Receipt & Token section in bKash App)
- Enter this token number in your electricity meter to complete the electricity bill payment or update the meter.
How to bKash Postpaid Electricity Bill with the bKash App
1. Tap ‘Pay Bill’ from bKash app home screen
2. Choose ‘Electricity’ and select Biller
3. Enter your bill period and bill account number
4. Enter bill amount and complete transaction by entering your bKash Account PIN
5. Tap and hold the bottom of the screen to confirm payment and get a digital receipt instantly
Terms and Conditions
1. You can pay a maximum of 3 electricity bills per day free of charge.
2. There will be no charges for paying up to 3 electricity bills per month.
3. Offer valid till December 31, 2024
