What is Default Card?

If customer has multiple cards saved in their bKash App, customer may choose to keep one card as default, which will be used for repeated transactions. The default card will always be displayed when attempting to “Make Payment” transactions. Customer can change the default card from bKash profile page or Manage section.

Can customer change reference name of a saved card?

Customer can change the reference name of a saved card from bKash profile and also from the Saved Cards option. Customer need to choose which card reference will be changed and input preferred reference name.

What are the limits?

How to save a card?

Customer can save a card after a successful transaction initiated from the Card. From transaction successful screen, customer can tap “Next” button. A page will appear where customer can provide consent to save the card and also provide a reference name for the card. The card will be saved and customer will be able to view the saved card from bKash profile or Manage section.

What to do if customer does not want to save a card?

Customer needs to uncheck the button “Save card details for future use” and tap on “Back to Home” after a successful transaction.

How to delete a saved card?

Customer needs to visit bKash profile and tap on “Saved Cards”. Then the saved card list will appear. Customer needs to tap ‘Edit’ and then ‘Remove’ button. Customer will be asked again for confirmation. Then customer needs to tap ‘Yes, Remove’ again to remove the card from their bKash account.

How to change the default card?

Customer needs to visit bKash profile and tap on “Saved Cards”. Then saved cards list will appear. Customer needs to tap on “Default” button if there are multiple cards added in their bKash account. If a single card is added in bKash, this card will be always marked as a default card in bKash.
