Service details:
- bKash customers can now open a Payoneer account from the bKash app and transfer money directly to the bKash account.
- To enjoy the service, tap on the remittance icon from the bKash homepage and then tap on Payoneer. Then tap on the register button, and you will be directed to the Payoneer hosted Page for registration. bKash will only assist you to do registration in opening a Payoneer account. Details of registration or the success/failure of registration will completely depend on the Payoneer authorities.
- It is possible to register with Payoneer through the bKash app without providing your bank account information.
- Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a customer ID.
- If you already have a Payoneer account, bKash customers will be able to easily transact by linking their Payoneer account with their bKash app. In this case, the name of the customer of the Payoneer account and the name of the customer of the bKash account should be the same.
- To link Payoneer account with bKash account tap on Remittance icon > Payoneer > Link Payoneer account. You will be directed to the Payoneer hosted page where you have to provide your Payoneer email/username and password. If the email/username and password are correct then you will receive an OTP in your mobile number registered with Payoneer. Upon entering the OTP the Payoneer account will be linked with the bKash account.
- Only one Payoneer account can be linked to a bKash account.
- If someone is unable to use Payoneer service then tapping on the Remittance icon shall take you through an information update journey where you can use your NID then to update your bKash KYC information. Once this is achieved you may then be able to access Payoneer service
- When withdrawing money from Payoneer to bKash, you will be able to view your balance in certain currencies depending on your Payoneer account.
- The minimum withdrawal amount is BDT 1000 and the maximum withdrawal amount is BDT 2,50,000 in a single transaction.
- Payoneer will charge 3% Conversion Fee + $1 for every transaction on the total amount of money withdrawn within the amount limit. No other charge is applicable other than the Payoneer imposed fee.
- You can Cash Out received money from Payoneer at the charge of 7 Taka per thousands* from any BRAC Bank, the City Bank and Q-Cash ATM booths by using the bKash App or by dialing *247#
- This charge is applicable on Cash Out of received money from Payoneer in bKash account from March 19, 2024.
- Each time the customer successfully withdraws money from Payoneer to bKash, they will receive reward points.
- The 2.5% incentive provided by the government does not apply to this service.
