How to open bKash account using Bangladeshi NID from abroad:

  1. Press ‘Log In’ on the bKash App to open a bKash Account using your Bangladeshi NID
  2. Enter your foreign mobile number
  3. Enter the verification code received in the foreign mobile number for confirmation
  4. Upload the picture of departure/arrival stamp of your passport
  5. Take a picture of the front part of your Bangladeshi NID
  6. Take a picture of the back part of your Bangladeshi NID
  7. Verify the information of your NID to proceed
  8. Provide the personal information to proceed
  9. Set a new 5 Digit PIN
  10. Log in to the bKash App using your foreign mobile number and new PIN
  11. Set your name and profile picture
  12. bKash App is now ready to use from abroad

Furthermore, you can update your bKash number to your foreign number if you have a bKash Account opened with a Bangladeshi mobile number.

How to update your bKash number from abroad

  1. Open the bKash App and select ‘Update bKash Number’
  2. Check the notification to proceed
  3. Enter your current registered Bangladeshi number
  4. Enter your foreign mobile number
  5. Enter the verification code received in the foreign mobile number
  6. Upload the picture of departure/arrival stamp of your passport
  7. Take a picture of yourself for verification
  8. Enter the temporary PIN received in the foreign mobile number via SMS
  9. Set a new 5 Digit PIN
  10. Log in to the bKash App using your foreign mobile number and new PIN
  11. Set your name and profile picture
  12. bKash App is now ready to use from abroad

How to Add Money to your bKash account overseas:

  1. Go to the app or store of the money transfer company
  2. Enter the required information
  3. Enter your bKash account number
  4. Enter the desired amount of money to transfer

Your bKash account will be credited with the remittance money along with the government incentive (25 Tk per Thousand). It's now possible to perform Mobile Recharge whenever needed and Send Money to loved ones who are still in the nation, anytime!
