bKash has been recognized on the global stage for its use of real-time data in ensuring secure and reliable services for customers. At the Cloudera Data Impact Awards 2025, held in Singapore, bKash was named the top performer in ‘Data in Motion and Streaming Success’ under the Business Innovation category for the Asia-Pacific region.

This marks the first time a Bangladeshi company has received this honor. The award was accepted by Md. Mohiuddin, Vice President of Product and Technology Division of bKash, at a ceremony hosted at Marina Bay.

Cloudera, a US-based big data technology company, has been presenting the Data Impact Awards since 2013 to highlight organizations using data to drive innovation and create practical solutions. Each year, organizations from around the world are recognized for their achievements in different categories.

In the same category, OCBC Group of Singapore and Vodafone Idea of India were also awarded this year.
