Great news for all bKash users! You can now deposit money to bKash customer account from Mastercard. A bKash customer with an active account can bring money from any Mastercard-branded Debit, Credit and Prepaid card issued by any Bank/Financial Institutions (e.g. LankaBangla) in Bangladesh.
The process to 'Add Money' from Mastercard:
- Select ‘Add Money’ from your bKash App
- Select ‘Card to bKash’
- Select ‘My Account’ if you’re transferring to your bKash account or select ‘Other Account’ if you’re going to transfer to other bKash account
- Enter Mastercard number, Card holder’s name, Expiry date and CVV.
- You’ll get an OTP*. Enter the OTP then click ‘Proceed’
- Your fund transfer will take place

Unusual Issues
Issue 1: Failure in transaction
Solution: Add Money amount was deducted from the bank account/card, but was not adjusted in the bKash Account.
Solution:
We have already communicated with the card issuing bank to resolve the problem. We hope your money will be returned within 10 working days.
If the fund does not return within 10 working days due to some unavoidable circumstances:
Please contact the card issuing bank. Bank will take the initiative to return the money within next 10 working days.
Money has not returned within the above timelines
(If the amount is settled in the billing statement):
Please place a complaint at the card issuing bank. Bank will then resolve the issue as per policies of the scheme of Visa/Mastercard.
Issue 2: Unable to perform transaction
Situation 1:
The Customer failed to transfer money and/or save the card and no OTP screen appears.
Solution:
Please contact the issuing bank to enable 'e-commerce transaction’ of the card for online transaction
Situation 2:
Ecommerce transaction was enabled, but customer failed to transfer money and/or save beneficiary and OTP page popped up but is blank (white screen)
Solution:
Are you using iPhone? Please contact the issuing bank to inform about this issue and your smartphone version
Situation 3
Ecommerce transaction was enabled, but the customer cannot transfer money with the saved cards
(Transaction can be done if the card is not saved)
Solution:
Please contact the issuing bank to inform about the issue (and tell them to allow transaction from saved cards without CVV)
Situation 4:
Ecommerce transaction was enabled, but customer found error message on the OTP screen (this happens when the issuing bank does not have OTP or two-factor authentication system)
Solution:
Please contact the card issuing bank for facilitating transactions with internet
